Pigeon Patrol has been updated to version 1.1, and the big change is that you can hear it now. Until today the city was cleaned in silence, with a few beeps for company. That felt wrong. Pigeons are not quiet animals.
The game got music: one tune for the city, another for the beach and the harbor, a tense one for the bosses, and even the wardrobe where you try on hats has its own. The sound effects are real recordings too. Pigeons coo, cats meow, dogs bark, gulls shriek, trains pass by, waves roll in, and fish land with exactly the sound you'd expect.
The music pauses when you switch tabs, and the sound button in the menu still turns the whole thing off, if your office is not ready for this.
Your progress carries over. Just open the game and the city will greet you with a song. Also on itch.io.
